Meyer Lemon & Jasmine Iced Tea

104edited

I’m sure by now, all of you know I’m crazy about Meyer lemons.  In case if you’re new to my blog, please feel free to check out these recipes that feature Meyer Lemons: Meyer Lemon Cake, Meyer Lemon Sandwich Cookies, Meyer Lemon Curd with Vanilla Sugar, Meyer Lemon Macarons with Limoncello Buttercream, and this Easy Berries Sorbet with Meyer Lemon & Basil, just to name a few.  They are all very refreshing and scrumptious.

With the changing weather and flu/cold season approaching, I need to make sure I get my daily dose of vitamin C.  This Meyer Lemon & Jasmine Iced Tea is so easy to make and super refreshing for the warm afternoons.   The jasmine tea adds a hint of floral and sweet aroma to this drink, which compliment perfectly with the sweet and tart Meyer Lemons.  I sweeten this Meyer Lemon & Jasmine Iced Tea with organic blue agave.  I love how easy the agave blends in with the tea.  You can also use honey or a simple syrup if you like.

If you’re serving this tea in gatherings or parties, feel free to double or triple the recipe and make it in a pitcher.  I’m sure you and your guests will love this recipe.  Meyer Lemons reminds me of sunshine and happiness.  What's not to love?  Smile  Plus, I'm getting the Vitamin C that I needed.  So, what's your favorite way to get your daily dose of Vitamin C?  From fruit, vegetable, vitamin pills or any other creative way? Any special recipes to share?  I would love to hear from you.

Thanks for stopping by today and wish you a wonderful rest of the week.

Meyer Lemon & Jasmine Iced Tea (Printable Recipe)
Servings: 2

3 jasmine tea bags
1 cup boiling water
1/4 cup organic blue agave (This is what I used)
1 Meyer Lemon, juiced
2 cups of ice cubes
1 1/2 cups iced water

Steep jasmine tea bags in boiling water for 5 minutes, then, stir in agave and lemon juice.  Fill 2 tall drinking glasses with ice cubes, pour in the jasmine tea mixture and fill up the glasses with iced water.  Enjoy.

*You can also thinly cut some Meyer Lemon slices for garnish.
