Jasmine Tea with Honey and Lemon
How’s your 2013 going so far? I hope you’re all staying warm and healthy. With the cold temperature and changing season, many of my friends and loved ones are a bit under the weather lately. I hope you will all feel better soon. Whenever I’m not feeling too well, this Jasmine Tea with Honey and Lemon is one hot beverage that I like to make. It’s warm and soothing; it’s perfect in this cold weather.
It’s really easy to prepare as well. Simply brew your favorite Jasmine tea. You can use tea bags or loose tea leaves. Add one or two slices of lemon into the tea cups, muddle with a spoon to extract some juice and oils from the lemon peels.
Then, drizzle a teaspoon or two of honey, stir well and enjoy with your favorite cookies and cuddle up in a warm blanket. (The cookies in the picture about were Almond Cookie Crisps. Please click here for the recipe.)
I guaranteed that you’ll feel better in no time. Please stay warm and dry my friends. Until next time, please take care.
I love Jasmine tea but have never tried to add honey into it. Must follow your method next time.

DeleteWith my bumper crop of Meyer lemons this year, I've been putting lemons in just about everything lately. Tea is definitely one of my fave ways to enjoy the floral tang of Meyers.
ReplyDeleteHi Amy, lovely jasmine tea, wish I can join you for tea. :)
ReplyDeleteYour presentation look very classy and excellent click.
best regards,
You make tea look so beautiful :) What a lovely spread. I am such a huge fan of tea. I have at least 1 litre of green tea a day. My favourite is buddahs tears. I always make Tyler this variation when he is sick. It makes his man flu go away!
ReplyDeleteJasmine tea is my all-time favorite because of its many health benefits like detoxification and aid for digestion. I always have it home-brewed every other cold night until the perfect aroma is achieved in my antique silver teapot. Lemon on the other hand adds a real lovely tinge of flavor to the tea and honey has its own benefits like being soothing to the throat and cools your body down. I think this is just the perfect combo for those under the weather.
ReplyDeleteRecipe is very good, but I liked the cup and the saucer☺where do I get them?

What's your favorite sort of jasmine tea ?
ReplyDeleteCan we use an orange?
ReplyDeleteOf course you can use an orange. But it just won't taste the same. Lemon is a lot more tart than orange, so you might need to adjust the amount of honey used.
